Drew's Animals Seeks to Make Home Schooling Easier
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Headline - Drew's Animals Seeks to Make Home Schooling Easier
Mebane, North Carolina October 22, 2003 - Drew's Animals (www.drewsanimals.com) introduced an online addition and multiplication work sheet generator Monday. Often additional work sheets for math practice are needed beyond that provided by the curriculum the home school family is using. With this generator, home schools will be able to generate and print out random math problems in minutes.
This generator is part of a series of tools created by Drew's Animals for home schools. The generator creates work sheets to meet the needs of the individual student. It works by letting the user pick a range of numbers to use in forming the equations. The range can be from 0 to 999. Twenty equations will be generated. This is very applicable to kindergarten through 6th grade. An optional answer sheet can also be generated.
Other tools in this series include a game and 4 mini clips. The math matching game includes 25 levels of play (12 levels of addition and 13 levels of multiplication). The game can be started on any level. The "mini features" are very short clips that provide a way for children to teach themselves to count: from 1 to 10; from 1 to 20; to 100 by 5s; and to 100 by 10s.
With the introduction of the math work sheet generator and other tools, Drew's Animals has made home schooling a little easier, a little cheaper, and a little more fun. A link to the work sheet generator can be found at http://www.drewsanimals.com.
About Drew's Animals
Drew's Animals was formed in the fall of 2000 out of the inspiration and design of 2 home school children. Robbie and Drew Sturgill, then 11 and 9 years old, started the site with their drawings, ideas, and a little help from mom and dad. Their goal was to learn how to create a web site, and to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Over the years this site has become a family project. Remaining entirely kid safe, Drew's Animals has expanded to offer many things for parents and teachers. Among the online content for kids you will find animal pictures, drawings, coloring pages, games, work sheets, Bible Stories, and many other things that reflect the interests of the children. For the parents there are devotions, job search links, and teaching resources. They welcome the use of the Bible Stories and math work sheets by home schools, public schools, and churches.
